About

Discover a truly attentive, individual and holistic approach to healthcare and wellbeing where best results are often achieved by incorporating conventional, complementary and alternative health care in combination.

Dr Gillian Ostrowski offers an exceptionally thorough and evidence-based approach to healthcare, combining over two decades of frontline medical experience with a broad portfolio of senior leadership roles. Her practice integrates the highest standards of conventional medicine with preventive strategies and, where appropriate, complementary approaches — ensuring every patient receives care that is both comprehensive and tailored.

A graduate of Edinburgh Medical School (MBChB, 1999), Dr Ostrowski undertook her early training at London’s leading teaching hospitals, including University College London Hospital, Guy’s and St Thomas’, and Chelsea and Westminster. She completed her GP training in 2004 and was appointed GP Principal Partner in a large London practice of over 14,000 patients by 2007 — a role that gave her extensive experience managing complex, high-volume clinical care.

Her postgraduate qualifications span multiple disciplines, reflecting her expertise across the breadth of general practice:

  • MRCGP (2004) – Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners

  • Diploma in Child Health (2003)

  • Diploma in Obstetrics & Gynaecology (2002)

  • Diploma in Family Planning (2002), with LoC in intra-uterine device insertion since 2007

  • Diploma in Occupational Medicine (2011)

She is also a Fellow of the Royal Medical Society of Edinburgh (FRMS).

Dr Ostrowski has held a series of senior medical leadership positions within the NHS:

  • Founding Executive Director, Battersea GP Federation (2007–2011)

  • Elected Member, London Medical Committee, Wandsworth (2009–2013)

  • Associate Medical Director, Wandsworth PCT (2011)

  • Associate Medical Director, NHS England South London (2013)

Her influence extends beyond clinical practice into policy, quality assurance, and medical education. She has been a GP Appraiser since 2013, qualified as a Medical Examiner (reviewer of causes of death) in 2025, and is a member of the examination team at City St George’s University of London Medical School.

Dr Ostrowski also brings entrepreneurial insight, having launched a successful private diagnostic testing company in 2021, providing both direct-to-consumer services and large-scale occupational health testing for corporate clients.

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Dr Ostrowski servedf as a trustee of the Pregnancy Sickness Society for many years, reflecting her commitment to advancing women’s health through advocacy, research, and improved patient care.

Married with three children and based in Central London, she combines clinical authority with the lived understanding of family health across all stages of life.
